What is your approximate delivery time?

Currently, we are shipping out orders within 5-7 business days. Orders are fulfilled in order they are received, which may affect manufacturing lead time. If we have devices in stock orders ship next day. 

How accurate is the temperature reading?

Our system is extremely accurate - to approx. ± 0.5 °F.  The thermal sensors inside the unit are German built Heimann® (Level D) thermal sensor, in line with FDA approved thermographic devices.

Is it difficult to setup?

TempSafe is plug and play. There is no software configuration necessary. Once the device is plugged in the system takes approximately 30 seconds to load and ready for its first scan.

Is there a warranty?

TempSafe products come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.

How big is the display? 

We offer the largest display an 8" LCD Crystal high-resolution display. Users can see their image and any alert notifications on the screen instantly.

How does it scan for body temperature and display results?

The unit has an accurate infrared thermal sensor that can detect body temperature at an accuracy of +/-0.5°F. The screen will display the actual temperature as well as a green for a pass or red if the temperature is above the set threshold.

What are the alerting options?

The TempSafe system alerts the user with Alarm options that include a strobe light, siren and a popup on a local PC workstation.

How does the unit mount?

The unit comes with option of desktop or pedestal stands. Wall mounting brackets are also available.

Can it be setup outdoors?

Yes. However, no direct sunlight can shine on the device or the face of the person being screened. We recommend a well shaded area for best performance.

What is the back-end management software you use?

The unit is managed over the LAN remotely by a Central Management Server (CMS) Application installed on a PC. The CMS has powerful capabilities including, time-stamping employees, managing multiple devices, registering users and provisioning each device with specific organizational and user information. Security and temperature alerts from the devices can be displayed on the event management console for security personnel to take action.

How can I clean my kiosk?

CDC-Recommended Disinfectant Solutions Safe for Screens + Kiosk Frame  ​ 

Household Bleach Solution (1/3 Cup of Bleach Per Gallon of Water)

Isopropyl Alcohol (≤ 70% Alcohol)  ​ 

Disinfecting Your Kiosk    

1. To prepare for disinfecting the touchscreen, power down the device (if possible) or ensure your on-screen software can tolerate false touches while you clean. 

2. Dampen a new clean, non-abrasive cloth (microfiber is great) with a disinfectant listed above. Ensure excess liquid is squeezed from the cloth.  

3. Disinfect the surfaces by wiping them with the cloth, and allow the surface to dry.

I'm buying multiple devices. Can I ship them to different locations?

Yes, if purchasing multiple devices that are going to different locations from your organization, we can drop ship units to each location, but there is a $100 shipping charge per additional delivery address.  Please contact us before purchase and we will provide a custom invoice with the additional shipping charges.
