Temperature Screening Tents Arrive at Disney Parks
From Inside The Magic
Ahead of reopening, temperature screening tents have begun to arrive at the Walt Disney World parks. Twitter user @bioreconstruct has shared an aerial view of temperature screening tents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and EPCOT.
Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom reopen to Guests on July 11. EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopen to Guests on July 15. The Disney World theme parks will be hosting Cast Member and Annual Passholder previews in the days leading up to reopening. Temperature checks are among the required health and safety protocol for all Guests and Cast Members.
Below is what Disney has announced when it comes to temperature screenings at Walt Disney World Resort:
Temperature screenings may be required for entry to some locations.
Upon arrival at Disney Springs area or at the Walt Disney World theme parks, you may undergo a temperature screening with no-touch thermometers.
Based on guidance from health authorities, anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 F or above will be directed to an additional location for rescreening and assistance. Those with temperatures 100.4 F or above will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either.
Before you leave home, be sure to check the temperatures of everyone in your party—including yourself—as an extra layer of precaution.
Take a look at the images below. Note that @bioreconstruct has added some yellow arrows to help readers see exactly where the temperature screening tents are located at the front of the theme parks.
